Matsu Area Desalination Plant Entrusted Operation (2016 to 2020)

In order to effectively solve the water demand in Matsu, the Lianjiang County Government starts building desalination plants in four township and five islands to obtain desalinated water through RO reverse osmosis treatment to meet the water demand of residents in Matsu.

• Beigan desalination plant processing capacity is 250 tons per day.
• Nangan desalination plant processing capacity is 500 tons per day.
• Dongyin Seawater Desalination Plant processing capacity is 650~700 tons per day.
• Xiju desalination plant processing capacity is 250 tons per day.
